Hello,
I am a photographer, I love taking pictures.
I am currently in a relationship in which I am incouraged to be myself. The concept of my ideas and desires being supported came hard to me. This actually took me years to grasp, but he says I am his butterfly and just starting to spread my wings.
Any and all comments are encouraged as well as suggestions too. Thank you for the comments you leave as well as suggestions. I will try to find interesting photo opportunities so that I can give you wonderful pictures to view.

Update: 06-20-09
I have found another family on Renderosity. All the people here are just incredible. Things are starting to change in a really positive direction for me. I am currently starting to do portraits, and am thinking about making this my full time position. One day I hope to tell my boss to jump in the lake. I think having a career that I love and can be proud of is now my goal.
Clarification 09-20-09
I do portraits for family members and friends. I don't charge them because I need someone to practice with.
Well I think I found something that I can be proud of. Not in photography, but in sales. I am my own boss. I can never be fired or laid off. I sell stuff I use and love. So I know I can stand behind it. Just need to build my customer base. Once I do, I will just do this and only this.
       Friends Always,
                            Cheri

Cheri, What a good humored Happy Birthday for Tara. She'll have to lay low with this wanted poster on the street! If I see her, I'll make sure she is apprehended and turned over to the proper authorities:-)))

Oh this is perfect! It would take a Ninja Photographer to come up with something as cool as this! I love every bit of it and it's put a great big ol' smile on my face, which is always a good thing! This rocks and it's the perfect birthday gift!

This is excellent! I love the "wish her a happy birthday and runaway" I'll keep an eye out, but I don't think she has made it this far south. Wonderful birthday greeting! Happy Birthday, Tara!

like you, I've been offline a lot more than I wanted, and when I come back, I can only do one image per gallery until more time opens up. I see everything and keep up with your difficult saga, but I chose to comment on this today because it's a great piece, very funny, very true, about a mutual dear friend, about a time I was part of, and because it has the finesse & wit you always do so well. (And the shot of Tara is wonderful.) I didn't have a camera then, so I just watched you people shoot & shoot, and wondering how you saw anything in those tiny viewfinders. And I, along with Dave & Juanita, had to get used to my companions stopping every 10 seconds to shoot something, always shooting something, lol. I got used to speaking veddddy short sentences, and got used to standing and waiting a lot. (Next time, I'm gonna have a camera! Ha!) Of all the Ninjas, I think Tara was the ninja-est---no insult to anyone, as everyone was ninj-escent---but when I was with her & marilyn---ie, just the 3 of us---Madame Tara walked with no footprint, made no noise, moved like the Invisible Woman, and would literally disappear at a moment's notice so that while I was talking, I'd turn around & she was gone. I mean Gone. You couldn't find her. She wasn't "nearby," she wasn't "right around the corner, Mark": She was frickin' gone. Then a few minutes later, she'd crawl out from under a rock, smiling, no stress, no nothing, smiling away like she'd been with us all along, and just picked up the talk where she left off. Wayyyy too smooth. I was convinced by the end of that Friday that she was a spy. (Marilyn, btw, walked 9000 mph, and was generally in Wisconsin within minutes of every conversation.) So that's ninja to me. A great shot of tara 'cause it's just what she looked like. And she made that shirt (I think she made everything, including her skin, eyes, hair, I don't know, ask her, I never got that personal...). And I actually held that camera! See, I only knew film cameras---had never been with a digital photographer before---and I kept on saying, "where's the CLICK!!!" She was patient with me. I also took 3 shots with that camera which are still somewhere in her archives, weeping. If you ever see them, save them, they're likely to be the worst shots in the history of the universe. Anyway a great capture of our mutual dear friend, and a wonderful birthday gift. (Ftr, I've sent my bday gifts in email, this year, and never got to the galleries for these wonderful dedis, mea culpa.) Great job Cheri. Hope all's well with you, and Dave too. Hope to be back here sooner!
