Weird title, I know. But when I saw this photo, all I saw were the lines and that old Eagles song "Life in the Fast Lane" started playing in my mind... Well this drive through the Badlands of South Dakota was as far from the fast lane as you could get.... but it had lines ;) lol. My previous upload, "Happy Mother's Day". Great day in the mornin', what a fantastic capture of the badlands, replete with variously textured striations from end to end, Melinda! Love those purplish colors and the contrast against the orangey sky.

Nice. There is something timeless and eternal about this. Like a lot of the scenery in this part of the country. Reminds me of a trip my family took to Arizona in 1979. I'm 30 years older and can see the difference. Shouldn't the scenery have changed as well? No, actually.LOL. Great capture.
