talking
sharing
little touches
brushes of
hands
hey darlin
he says
and a
sweet look
that says
so much
a whole day
together
running around
taking care
of business
with him
looking in
the window
our favorite
bookstore
he leans
against me
wandering around
nowhere special
it doesn’t
matter
sweet special
moments
time to go
a hug
a soft kiss
big smile
knowing
there’s more to come
sweet days

This is quite touching and evocative of everything that makes me giddy in life! It has a nicely conversational tone, but it goes deeper than mere conversation and touches on so many sublime experiences...and my favorite promise...that there will be more, that tomorrow or the tomorrow after that will bring more!
