Description
The Apollo 11 mission landed the first humans on the Moon. Launched on July 16, 1969, the third lunar mission of NASA�s Apollo Program was crewed by Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin �Buzz� Aldrin Jr. On July 20, Armstrong and Aldrin became the first humans to walk on the Moon, while Collins orbited in the Command Module.
The lunar module was named Eagle for the national bird of the United States, the Bald Eagle.

Very nice image, cool POV. Maybe in 2 year we will get this joke out of the white-house and be able to refund the space program so we can go back to the moon and then hopefully on to Mars. Only time will tell and unfortunately the window of opportunity is closing more each day as we lag just in LEO. Cheers, David
