Description
Two pelicans flying in synch off the south tip of Tybee Island, GA, with little Tybee Island in the background. I was going for a depth shot here, not a close-up of the pelicans. I had to wait until just the right moment to click the shutter. The out of focus tide measuring pole helps to give a sense of scale. This was shot at a 5x zoom.
Zoom for best detail, thanks!

Too bad they are so far off, but still a great sight to see, and a great place to visit. Thanks for sharing.

The striped mast or pole to the left of the image adds much to the depth of this cool capture, Kort. And, by golly, the pelicans are flying in synch. They must have gone to naval flight school.

Like incoming jets for ArmForces Day... Nice shot. Aloha

Tybee is one of my all time favorite locations...right along with Savannah. Fascinating to see how a pelican holds his head up while flying. I'll get my bathing suit...:)
