Description

Little Bernie is not doing too bad, I am managing to get him to eat his pills in some nice fresh fish. His first meal of the day is fresh cooked fish with his pills crushed & mixed in, the odd morning I will put them in some fresh cooked chicken. So far so good, It is a relief when all the meal has gone as it means pills are gone too :o) He is more active, eats more & I think maybe he has put a bit of weight on. I know he isn't going to be cured but I am so pleased with how he is keeping :o) Pic taken on Friday!!!! Thanks for the lovely comments xxx

I'm so glad he is doing well. Your other recent postings of him caught me at a really busy time (the payday before I went to New York City) and I didn't get back to comment on them, but I was thinking of him. You give him such good treatment, no wonder he is flourishing. He can't be cured, but you are giving him a wonderful life and I know he returns love and affection. I hope he continues well. Beautiful picture! He looks very handsome!

You can always try a pill popper which is like a long syringe but with a little clamp that holds the pill where the needle would be. You open his mouth stick in the syringe and give it a push and out pops the pill. It is easiest way to get cats to swallow pill if you don't want to mix in with food.

Thanks for the update on him Barbara glad you are able to get the pills into him and that he is putting on a little weight.. your doing a great job with him and the girls..It seems quite a handful guess they all keep you busy and on the hop lol Nice capture of Bernie on the bench ;-)

Such a joy to see dear Bernie sat like a prince on the worktops, bless him. Mike is a great vet and somehow just knew how to make life a little easier for the old guy, thank God for Mike that is what I say, one of the best vets ever. Please keep me informed on how Bernie does Barbara, lots of love and hugs from me and also from the furryfolk - special licks from them too for Bernie. xxx

Dear Sweet Bernie! I am so glad he is doing so much better. Now Bernie, you take your meds like a good little man, and don't give Mum a hard time. You need them to keep you feeling good, and we want to see you around for a long time yet. We want to see lots of pictures of you because you are such a handsome man!
