My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Delightful, Tara! There's a lot going on here, and yet it all seems to tie together beautifully. Nicely seen and photographed! Actually, I'm a little bit ashamed of myself. Here I live in the same metro area as this magnificent museum, and I haven't been there in years. I'll be correcting that very soon.....

Wonderful work! You did GOOD!!!

This was a fun collaboration but all the art selections, artistic arrangement and postwork on the twenty separate layers for this fine 2D piece were all auntietk's. I love the concept...so much fine art to see and so little time to see it. We arrived at about 10:00am and our only plan was to eat lunch at noon. By 3:00pm our feet were falling off and energy had ebbed. Sometime we'll have to visit the other 2/3rds of this fabulous museum.

An interesting medley of various art forms in this very good capture, considering the lighting conditions and cacophony of noisy urchins.

I just love your collage here, these are some awesome finds...not sure how you decided to use specific ones, sure they all were so cool to see....and I agree...its hard to see all the displays and take it all in, within a short visit to these places. When I worked full time at the Elementary School for three years, we'd get to go too some pretty awesome Museums and trips, I really miss it. So much information in one place. Awesome post here, I love it! So glad I bumped into it. Thank you.

What a fabulous idea! And the Rendo Police let you do this? Odd that.. But I think its a great idea! And it works very well. Flash tours of the best bits! Of course, you have to view big! Well done.. Rob

This is astonishingly dream-like. I'm reminded of Tarot cards too, madly shuffling and reshuffling themselves in an attempt to come up with a coherent and interesting narrative. I love all of the images in this collage, and it's so intriguing that this doesn't "feel" like a collage at all. It's more an impression of a day, a story in-and-of itself, but not the whole story: a tone poem in images. Super! I really like this piece of work! It's brilliant on every level...and there's a mummy in it! What's not to like about that?

Wonderful capture of the museum spirit!

Nice writing. Outstanding effort on the collage. The post work makes it look as if everything is in one display case. Fantastic work. Thanks for including the Japanese scroll on the right (Daruma?) and, of course, the disembodied head in hand. I love Asia and weird.
