Description
"How can I wear the harness of toil
And sweat at the daily round,
While in my soul forever
The drums of Pictdom sound?"
-REH
Robert E. Howard's Picts are a conflation of the historical Picts and American Indians, particularly the Algonquins. They are short, broad-shouldered, deep-chested, lean-hipped, thickly-muscled, with black eyes and hair and go mostly naked except for scanty doe-skin loin-clouts.
Rendered in Poser 8 with postwork done in Photoshop CS4 and with a Wacom Bamboo tablet.
As always, thanks for looking and any comments.
