Yes - cause most old beatle are still old beatles regardless - Sure not my first choice as a project car and even a nice job like this does not get my motor over idle :) But the photo is great !

Nice pic. Looks like a '65 or earlier. The twist handle hood latch was replaced by a push button latch in '66 (I had one) but since the body parts were identical for so long you could mix and match and with so many after market "antique" conversion kits its hard to tell. One was a simple conversion that could turn any '60s vintage VW into a 50's "split window" version.

Woah, very cool...love this car as well...a long time ago (lol) when I was painting cars with the ex, we had to do a Ford Falcon this color, or a similar color to it...it was an interesting job for sure. lol
