just superb. I see, from your earlier uploads that you've done a lot of 2D. I wonder if you started with physical media (ie, oils, acrylics, watercolors, etc). You have that "feel," that sensibility. I don't know why I've not seen your gallery before, as you do superb work. This piece---a fractal through & through---also has elements of abstract painting. And, once again, you understand empty space so well. The jagged edges of your design are agitated but crystalline. Your whites have the feeling of rapid & energetic brush-strokes (like you were painting with white oils). They have the feeling of palette knife-movement too. And the alternation with those beautiful browns is wonderful. Yes, it looks like a creature, but it also is an organic abstract. And, standing in the midst of all that black, it seems like it's in a theater, and it is having its "solo moment". A soliloque...Beautiful and I think brilliant. I'll be back here again...what a fine gallery you have!
