Description

Well, after running a 3-day garage sale and getting my face sunburned to a tomato-like shade in the process, I figured I deserved a treat. So, I picked up the LITTLE ONE character over at DAZ! She was created by fellow Renderosity user 3Dream. I thought I would give some first impressions. Having an older computer, I found my machine really getting bogged down by Victoria 4 and especially Michael 4. I was looking for something a little more lightweight. Enter Little One. First of all, she is absolutely adorable. She captures that "certain something" that only Posette (P4 Woman) had. Despite having FEWER polygons than Posette, her joint bending is at least as good as, say, Victoria 3. She certainly doesn't waste polygons. Anyone recall Miki's 10,000 polygons PER EYE!?!? Her figure is, and I mean this in the best possible way, "dumpy." She has narrow shoulders and wide hips, which is exactly what I look for in a female! Plus, her bustline is low, in the correct place. Compare to P8 Alyson's "girl pecs"!! In fact, Little One vaguely reminds me of LaRoo, if anyone remembers her... She is very shapable and has LOTS of morphs. In fact, she has more viseme morphs than ANY character I know. I will have to do an animation experiment... Some downside, though. Her arms are too long. (Put your arms at your sides and tell me where they land.) her wrists and ankles look downright fragile. Her hands leave a little to be desired. Just my opinion, though. The only thing that boggles the mind is why Little One, and Skye for that matter, are about half the height of other adult figures. Are they supposed to be Hobbits? I don't understand. Overall, I think Little One has a lot of potential and I plan to use her in some forthcoming pictures. And oh, yes, there are several freebies out there to get started with. Many thanks to 3Dream for creating this wonderful figure!!

Don't know why the size difference, although if after you load Skye, you increase her scale, and then start putting her clothes and other things on her, they fit properly. Excellent work I may have to pick up Little One as well

Great write up on the little one! I wish there was room in my runtime for her, but my focus is on the kids, M4 & V4 - but I always thought her stunning! Love your set up here...
