Captured 5/16/10, around noon, at the beautiful 16th Annual Muckenthaler Motor Car Festival, held at the beautiful Muckenthaler Cultural Center in beautiful Fullerton, California.
A ZOOM is a must for better detail.
Now you know what I mean when I said this was a hard photo shoot, because many vehicles were parked on hill and dale surfaces, including some steep inclines, on the eight acre event. Oh my aching GI back and legs.
Photo #3 was taken from atop one of the inclines.

It's a pretty little thing, but I have to wonder about the belts holding the hood in place; did they often have problems with hoods flying up and off? The leather and buckles seem out of place on such a "modern" vehicle. Or maybe it's just that folksy touch that people like about them, I don't know. Great shots, despite the wear and tear on your appendages!

MrsRatbag, I was wondering the same thing about the hood belts and buckles.

I have to agree, the belts are totally out of place on this otherwise pretty car.

Nice car and great collage.. I'd have to pass on it though, I think you would be dodging birds and picking bugs out of your teeth with this low windshield.. lol.

Very special collage Harry! Of the metal "matchbox" cars of my youth, this is one of the five that I saved. They must be 60 years old? Dana

"Glocker?" Not the most poetic of names. This is an interesting little car. Totally inconvenient, but interesting. I noticed the buckles first too. I've never seen a hood held in place by buckles (if that is what they are doing) before. It's rather odd. I like all the circular gadgets on the dash and the rear view mirror. The hubcaps look like colanders. Sorry to hear of all the hardships needed to get these shots. They are really superb and very interesting. I hope your body has forgiven you at this point. My feet took three days to forgive me for all the walking I did in New York.

A famous car that does a great job retaining its' thoroughbred traditions. Fine collage.
