Lovely tribute! Lea had cancer back in '88. She toughed it out and had six major surgeries that year. A tough year for us both, I tell you. The good news is that she has been free of cancer ever since then! We still scuba dive together, when we can. So, to everyone concerning cancer: it can be beaten, if but for a few good years (as in the case of my mother in law) of for life (Lea, my wife). You have to be tough, as it is no easy road to travel. Encircle yourself with loved ones, a favorite pet, find the little things that you like (movies, music) and take one day at a time. Baby steps. Do not worry about tomorrow, as it will arrive on its own time.
