Description

Well, it's been uploaded, currently in review. Here's hoping it makes it through the process without a hitch. It's been a long time coming. I added further articulation in the spaulders, and a Mat pose file to make Mike's body invisible. This with some morphs in the legs of the gambeson work well to eliminate breakthroughs. There is 0 steel bending in this suit. What you see is what you get. The skirt does have issues when the leg is up as far as it is in this pose. Haven't figured out a way to deal with that. If I do I'll upload an update, but I have yet to come across a skirt in any package that manages that. But then I don't think I have the sheer volume of stuff that some people have. I do need to get work from others to get a better idea maybe, of what is expected and or how to deal with certain issues. There aren't any body morphs for Body Builder or anything, as I've said before, it would be a nightmare when considering all the articulated parts. That and I think a suit of armour like this on a body builder would look really odd. But then, that's me. This does work in Daz Studio 3. I even installed the runtime into Studio, and didn't have any issues, though I did not include a set up for Studio in this package. The only think I found is that the spec and bump settings were very different or at least behave very different in Studio compared to Poser. But there are both Material Collections and Mat Pose files included in this package to make things easier for those who do use Studio. Mind they are just the default materials in case any editing should go awry. Anyways, hope the suit passes, and I will be working on texture expansions for this, as well as armour for Viki 4, and of course for the Mill Horse--but realistic medieval armour, not fantasy armour. Full saddle, positioned properly (I've noticed some saddles for the mill horse are too far down the back. Odd) full barding, leathers and plate as separate figures. Well, at least that's the plan. I'm sure I'll also be working on a number of other things, like getting the Predator Stuff packaged. Won't be selling it though. I did talk to Renderosity about it, and it's not Rosity that is concerned about copyright issues, as it would be me that is liable should Fox want to take me to the cleaners. So it will be free. Oh, the hair being used there is Flexy Hair by Bice and Out of Touch. Not meant for Mike 4, but hey, it works. Cheers

He looks like Snape in full armor. The set looks fantastic and I noticed there was no bending. Have you thought about making the skirt dynamic? Or at least add that as an option? Good luck with it, I'm sure it will be a big seller for you.

HUZZAH!!! Oh, wow! It looks even better here (if that were possible!). Really fantastic looking armor here and, like SWard, I can't WAIT to get my hands on it and work with it! I'm really glad it works in DAZ too, thanks for making that test. Fingers crossed for you and can't thank you enough for all the wonderful work you've put in on this armor set! Really looking forward to getting it!

The armor looks like its been well crafted, lovingly forged in the furnace :) I can only stomach so much fantasy armor sets that are flimsy and more emphasis on pure sex appeal than practical coverage. That being said, would be interesting to see a V4 derivative, with a slightly modded chest plate :) Although for realism, one would only need this suit to conform to V4 (or I guess try to make a M4:Female, the reverse of the V4:Male), as the solid standard chest plate would be flattening most female chests to fit within.

Brilliant work! G'luck wiht the review. I have avoided horses because none of the saddles I see look to be right to me. Be nice to see one well done.
