Description
This little female has been here this week. The male was here last week. Does anyone know if the Male sits on eggs? I am trying to find out if we are lucky enough to have a pair in our neighborhood. They are beautiful but we have never had them before. Thanks.

I'm not sure about that either! I've had a male on my feeder twice, but no sign of a female. IT's cool that she's a regular, though. I'd say it's likely you do have a pair if she's showing up regularly. Beautiful shot, too. Nice and clear, excellent DOF that really works well.

Nice capture Bev, yes the male will sit on eggs, I had them in Illinois..but they dont seem to stay long...such a shame as they are so beautiful and I love their song.
