Cardinals are my favorite bird. I once had a pair that would come to the feeder when I whistled. They would fly to the tree beside the feeder and wait for me to fill it. I could get about 3 feet from them and watch them eat. Wonderful capture.!!! :)

This is a female? I don't know, the slicked back hair, the goatee under the beak, looks like a hipster to me. This is an exceptionally good picture. The composition among the leaves is superb.
