Description
The Palac Adria is an important architectural landmark. It was built in 1923 – 1924 for the Italian insurance company Riunione Adriatica di Sicurta. The famous theater Laterna magika was established there in 1959. Another theater, Divadlo Bez Zabradli, is situated there nowadays. Here you can see another detail of the ledger which decorates the facade between the 1st and the 2nd floors.

I have a theory that Prague is actually multiple cities with multiple realities and you captured the OTHER Prague with this image. Most of the theaters are otherworldly, and if the word "Palac" appears in its name, it's a part of the other Prague, the Prague that comes alive at night, rather like a vampire that will not suck your blood, instead he (or she) will show you magical things. This is one of those places. It's the statues I think. They come alive at night, get dressed, and go about their nightly business, then they undress and assume re-assume their positions on the fronts, tops, and corners of buildings. That's my theory, and I'm sticking with it. I love this photo because you captured that, the whole mood of it, and it's gorgeous. The details are amazing, and I love the way the colors seem to shimmer.

Interesting composition - now where have I seen this duo before ? ah, I know... 'It's elementary my dear Watson', good mix of two classic styles. BB
