Description
In the middle of our lawn stands a chestnut tree. Just a little one, but now so big, that it eventually is in bloom. I find it extreemely lovely right now. Hope you do too. I took these shots this morning.
The house behind the tree was my moms house, now my nephews) but in the end of their garden is a 35 years old chestnut tree. 6-7 years back I made my mother a big frame for a "high" bed for herbs. Suddently one day, popped up a tiny chestnut tree. My mother said that she planted the chestnut just for fun. This is the tree now and it is why I love it so much.

We have cloudy weather, but it is mild and without wind, so its peaceful and lovely.

Fantastic shot of this beautiful chestnut blossoms. Here in the area we have quite a lot of this chestnut trees. In the fall, people come from far to collect chestnuts.

I love these trees! Their leaves are so intriguing and they make good umbrellas for very small people! These blossoms are gorgeous and I love the light. You have such a sunny garden! That is always perfect! As always you show such marvelous details.

Gee, I don't recall seeing blooms on the chestnut trees here, very odd since I love nature so much! Beautiful flower, lucky you to have one in your yard, I love chestnuts and its such a warm sight seeing the carts in the winter with their fresh cooked ones, yummy!
