Description

This series was just shot yesterday - I think its been about two months since I start photographing this Rookery - Yesterday was Cloudy and dark also there was rain on and off through out the day - But It also was the first time I have been able to see and photograph the babies - So nothing was going to stop me from getting my shot - This series is a mother returning to her nest - she has just chased off a male that was becoming to nosey - she only left the nest for a few seconds - He had been lurking on the branch she has just landed on - and started to come to close for her comfort - there is a bit of this going on throughout the rookery now - I have photoâ��s of that part also but that will have to come at another time - I thought this series of mom coming home to babies was so special - and the way see approaches - inching down the branch so â��s not to land on them - Because of the size I did nothing fancy here - Thank you for viewing I hope you enjoy this series - 6 hours and 1200 shots for this ! This is magnificent. Not only the way you have chronicled a day in the life, but also in the individual shots themselves. I especially like the top left which deserves to be a picture on its own.
