Description

The Klingon Empire was not buying The Federation’s account of a "mysterious" Giant Romulan vessel from the future. These new heavily armed starships were seen as aggressive posturing in the eyes of The Imperial Council. At least that is the reason given for the increased presence of Klingon warships in the quadrant. The Enterprise runs afoul of a wolfpack of three Ktinga class battlecruisers, stardate unknown. "Lord let there be gridlock in our government, and let it begin with me" (My paraphrase of song written by Sy Miller and Bill Jackson Copyright 1955 by Jan-Lee Music) Vote the bums out in November! Your quotation troubles me. Seems to me that is exactly just what is wrong with our government. Gridlock guarantees that nothing constructive will ever be accomplished. What we need is cooperation and compromise and a will to get things done. I don't mind Big Government that works or Small Government that works, but what we have is No Government at all.
