Description

I was browsing through my Wild Animal Park photos again this evening, and this photo caught my attention. The bird, I think it is an egret, has a very large stick in it's mouth. Isn't the sunlight always just in the wrong spot? :P LOL. By the way, this is the natural indigenous wild life, not part of the collected inhabitants ;) Back to butterflies next time (unless something else catches my eye). My previous upload, "Butterfly Three". Thanks for your encouragement by visiting, commenting and faves! Just a funny thought I'd like to share: ....oh, I have been thinking about the photos I took of the butterflies and examining the camera settings trying to figure out how I could have taken better photos. I had the aperature opening to the max to let in the light and used the aperature priority so I didn't have to keep changing the shutter speed, and used the flash.. I was still getting pretty slow shutter speeds, and a lot of blur when the butterflies moved (or I was not as steady as I should have been) etc. It finally dawned on me last night... I didn't change the ISO... duh! ... inexperience, what can I say? I might remember now! Have a lovely weekend! Hugs, ~Melinda~
