Description

I went to Breaux Bridge Friday and I parked in back of the coffee shop there. This lady and man was outside and I saw she was dress well. She step out of the store to smoke and the man went inside. I took some shots of her and she noted I was takeing phots and the man came back out side and she told him about me. I was busy at that time takeing photos of some flowers the woman and man was looking at when I first drove up. The man looked at me and went back inside thinking I guess I was just takeing photos of flowers. I saw her in the same pose watering the plantes. wish I could have took some shots of that, anyway I walked thought the back gate and turn hopeing to get a shot that wy but I saw she was eyeing me still. wish I took a shot getting that face of hers looking at me with eyes of "I dare you" but I did not lol. maybe next time. thank you for looking. I been busy in the real world so I know I behind and may forgot to go to your gallery..sorry if I did that

Everybody is leary of anybody these days and I guess for good reason. You grabbed a good shot though.

I like this shot. A very ordinary scene ... someone reaching over to turn on the water ... made extraordinary by her beautiful dress. I guess no matter how nice you look, sometimes you have to do a bit of work.

Cool foto of the blonde in the pretty dress smoking herself to death. Guess what, as long as you're standing on a public sidewalk, and it is not stated on a sign otherwise, you have every right in the world to take as many photos as you want of anything or anyone you want. Photographers have rights, also. There are video cameras posted everywhere anyway, especially in Chicago. No wonder people are so paranoid.

Whenever I am walking downtown and see someone that has that look...that certain appeal, I reach for the camera. Timid...I'm always nervous about imposing on their privacy or taking a shot without their ok - but once you ask, they aren't natural anymore...they are aware and it takes the originality out of the poses. I stop to think, each time, what would Jock do? He'd take it and then smile and offer to send them a copy... Love this one too, Jock.

...most people freak out...while shooting a kids baseball game, with coach's and ump's permission,an off-duty cop{parent} grilled me then kicked me off the field....people are way too paranoid these days....thank you proliferation of cell-phone cams and internet weirdness for spoiling it for the rest of us...take the I dare you shot,I say and TFB for the person on the public street...does anyone in a modern city think they're not being watched?
