My name is Ursula and I live in the southeast of Bavaria (Germany) together with my husband and our little White West Highland Terrier called 'Ruebe'.Â
I am born in nineteenhundredfourtyseven. Â
Â
Reading, art, gardening, collecting stones, my house and taking photos are my passion. Certainly I have forgotten something....
Â
I love nature and above all the "invisibles" which become visible only by Macro photography. Very briefly, I am curious! And I also always like to know what I have taken a photo of.
Â
I am  very grateful to my son Adrian  (  January Gallery of the Month 2009   - Chaos 911 )      that he left me his 'old' camera. Moreover, you owe it to him that you can see here my pictures. He has encouraged to me to join RR.
Â
A lot of fun while looking at my "small world"!
Â
Â
If not differently mentions, are all photos from my garden.....

Our chant as children... Doodlebug, doodlebug, Come out of your hole; Your house is on fire, And your children will burn. Similar to the ladybug chant... but a bug was a bug and we charmed them all. :-) Wonderful macro!

Oh, I love these! This is incredibly marvelous! What details and they're so cute! I love their bumpy armor. The ones in Chicago are mostly smooth and shiny with nice color patterns, but very few bumps. I love the way they're so perfectly focused and the light is superb! In short, this is marvelous...absolutely perfect! Even better, there were hundreds of them? WOW! NICE By the way, did you know that they have deep sea cousins that are bigger than your hand? I wish the land-dwelling ones got that big! I could keep them as pets and walk them like dogs on a small leash!
