"How rare . . . and how beautiful!" Like the old song goes, It Would Be So Nice if you could be, um, commissioned to realize a new/improved Star Trek cartoon with work like this. The original one was cute but a Saturday morning-flavored low-budget letdown, a herky-jerky hodgepodge of awkward movements, broken-record music and sometimes goofy coloring. Just this view alone is emblematic of what a more serious animated rendition of TOS - aka The Only Star Trek - would look like versus one that's, er, engineered for the Lunchables crowd. Cue one of Alexander Courage's Enterprise-flyby fanfares: "Da-da-DE-da-dada-da-DA!"

Redbone619, I thank you for the compliment. Unfortunately, I don't have the resources for the kind of animation you're talking about. My graphic novel work is done on a Dell Inspiron 531 PC with 3.43GB of RAM. For the kind of animation you're talking about, you'd need a far more powerful steup. Still, if you like the FSS Enterprise in these stll images, I hope you'll check out my Nova Trek graphic novels. I think you might like those too.
