Description
Great Whites take seals at this very spot on a regular basis. Thats one of the reasons my friends and I return time and time again. It's been a dream of mine to see one in the wild, and maybe, just maybe photograph it. I hate seeing any sharks in captivity, and even the thought of joining one of those commercial 'chumming' charters holds no interest to me. My desire has always been to catch even a glimpse of a purely wild and free shark. It always strikes me as strange how totally fatalistic these seals seem to the threat of attack. I guess they have little choice in the matter!
You guys will be the first to see the Great White photos if I am ever successful!!!!!

I haven't seen the great white but I have seen a few sharks in the wild - its unsettling for me but they are beautiful. I like this powerful scene... very well done.

This is an amazing seascape on it's own right - even without the sharks. The colors in the water are stunning and the sea state and waves crashing on the rocks are breathtaking. Well done.

Amazing blues. We are here at the ocean, and the heavy overcast weather has kept the water a dismal grey. Waiting for a small amount of sunshine to take some pictures. ;c)

i caught a shark once on a fishing trip--a tiny little guy, probably only about 4 feet or so long, but his teeth looked VERY big. We let him go, of course, and I was happy to see him swim away. There are great whites up here as well, a couple of surfers have teeth marks in their legs as proof. Hope you get your shot, looking forward to seeing it!!
