When more is given Than what is received Makes a cold heart Shiver alone If something is given in expectation of reward or even thanks then disappointment is sure to follow Giving is a gift from the heart it must be done because it is right or heart felt or it should not be done at all You can comfort yourself knowing you have done the right thing or the decent thing even if it was not recognized As for the image, you just keep getting better and better.

Give and take doesn't have to be equal every day, but it does need to even out. Mark is talking about a different kind of giving, I think. I know that cold heart, shivering alone. Getting nothing means you have ... nothing. I love the cold fire in orange and green. Wonderful pairing of poem and image.
