What happens when Ai's start to go beyond their programming and become more than self-aware?
when they start feeling as well as thinking?
These questions, when we get to that point in AI evolution, will hopefully have some answers. in the meantime, we have just speculation.

Like the reflections. When AI first was discussed way back when, and all the speculation with how far we could with that... it is amazing to think about. Still, I think what is most amazing is life itself, either us humans, or the animals. I don't think AI will ever approach such things as that, but we will never know until it's tried.

Thinking about AI is a little scarey .. There is the potential of uprisings, take overs, mind control, all kinds of scarey things .. once sentience takes place, everything changes. Or .. it could all work out for the best, you just never know. Imagine mixed marriages .. the offspring of biologicals and AIs gone sentient sure would have some very cool abilities!
