Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Mmm interesting... now where is the cat? and has this cat any significance to this photo of a roof? Could be the start of some cat-tle maybe or backwards it could be tac or maybe telling us subliminally to act... mm I don't really know which :-O

Unusual presentation, but other than the color and texture of what I assume is a roof (I don't know, maybe it's a floor mat), just what is the significance of the word, cat, unless it's a visit back to out kindergarten days in learning the alphabet?
MrsRatbag
Are we playing charades now? LOL! Wonderful image!

It took me a while to figure this out, then I saw that the floor mat is actually more like corrugated metal. Tin? Cat? Tin? What remains of a roof? Needless to say, I'm greatly amused. I was also thinking of the Cheshire Cat, only I didn't see his grin, and then I wondered why he'd be on a tin roof, hot or otherwise! But that's cats for you! This is incredibly clever, gorgeous too!

Hysterical! I got this immediately also. Do people still read Tennessee Williams or am I just getting old? Great shot and funny clever postwork. Love this!
