Description


Melbournian's often joke that The Yarra river looks like it runs upside down, or that it is made of coffee! Amazingly, it's due to tannins in the water and is safe enough to swim in. They actually hold water skiing championships here. You wouldn't catch me in there though!

Another gorgeous night shot!! Yeah, I couldn't swim in that water either, no matter how safe they say it is. Our rivers turn brown when it rains, of course, and it's just not very pretty.
