Description

My favorite model by friend and fellow artist Anders Lejczak. (Bazze) The last time I used this great model in a render, it was ripped and used without my authorization by a political party in the UK for a campaign poster creating a bizarre situation for Anders and myself. I smile at it now, but a real pain back then :) The tale can be found here: http://www.colacola.se/spitfire_bnp.htm Vue 8.5

Looks good Ken. Anders models are just stunning, and he is so generous with his tutorial, hints and models that he provides. I've been thinking about both of you.. although I didn't know you were friends... I have a neighbor pilot who just loves FW190's and I went to see if Anders had one.. I thought I would surprise my neighbor and render on in Modo in his driveway. Anyway, remember this situation with the poster.

She is a beautiful aircraft, and Anders model is superb. I must say that your texture map looks great too though. I heard about the misuse of your image and laughed at the irony of it...especially seeing your spit had a polish flag on it...Doh!! Hope you got some money out of them. Keep up the good work

Wow - I both loved the story and cringed at it! You just can't make this stuff up, can you? Great image!

Exceptional work. Bazze really makes some great models. But I do see why you would take special exception to having your work stolen by that bunch. And the fact they didn't know it bore Polish markings says much about what kind of people they are.

I got a chance a couple years ago to see one of these awesome planes up close at our yearly Oshkosh Wisconsin Fly In.Your rendering brought back those memories. It was a cloudless day and their was a group of 5 of these that flew over in formation, couldn't miss them cause they were LOUD as $#%@ !You did it proud Ken!

Ah, just leave it to the politicians to muck it up. That plane sure flew places you and Anders didn't expect it to fly. Interesting story. And a super image here. CC

Superb render. Silly business with the render theft, I'd already read it once on Bazze's site, refreshing it now :) Actually I've exported several versions/poses of this maginificent model for use in Vue, but I think everything has been done already and to perfection. Well done. 5*

nice work with this fine model. it would be nice to see a different Mark of Spit getting modelled. There were so many, and they served around the world and in many different air forces, including the US...

Don't think I'd want to be a German pilot and look back to see that coming at me. Fine detail.

It's the price you pay for fame and (maybe) fortune. Remember copying is the best form of flattery!!! Good job again!!
