Nice capture, Rozanne. I haven't seen any this year, so far. Some bees, some wasps, and a lot of midgies! The cold winter does not seem to have killed the little blighters off. Thursday had the usual early summer mix of weather - cold winds, heavy downpours, fleeting burning hit sun, and then, jist fir a wee surprise, a sudden hailstorm, heavy enough to leave the street covered and crunchy for almost an hour, before more rain swept it all away.. Have the touristas arrived yet in Catalunya? Warm regards, John.

Maybe a closer and panoramic crop would be nice? Did you try it? I think it would make the subject a lot more in focus. But maybe that's not what you were after? Just a suggestion. :)

tibet, you are right. I should have cropped it. Thanks for the comment.

genial macro! espero que no tengas una plaga, son odiosas cuando son muchas.

I disagree with Tibet. The shallow depth of field, and the tininess of the ladybug against the vast fuzzy background, are what make this photo.
