I know it looks cheesy, but hey... lol
If you've been in the chat room this last week, you're probably tired of hearing me talk about it by now. but anyways, here it is.
I wanted to experiment and see what kind of scene I could create using nothing but primitive shapes. It was good practice at making bump and displacement maps to achieve the look I wanted.
21 cylinders,
19 cubes,
16 spheres,
5 tauruses,
5 one-sided squares,
and a Partridge in a Pear tree later,
This is what I came up with.
....and yes, that is my face carved in the tree...

to me this is outstanding modelling,i did not went into hexagon or the like as of yet,i spend my time using the wonderful things the various artists create and use them as best as i can to pay some respect. very well done.

The bump and displacement maps are the things that really make it work Nice work!
