Description

If you are Australian, this will be easy. If not, it may be challenging. There have been movies made about his life. He is an Australian icon. He is also a distant relative of mine. I can remember my grandmother being quite ashamed of this fact. I'm not sure whether I should be proud or not, but I am!!!!!!! It may explain a few things. lolzzzzzzzzz.

He looks like Australian international darts player whose name escapes me at the moment, but he has what must be the worlds most extravagant mullet.

I love it when a comment before mine gives an answer to a question, which leads me to do research! I also love it when the aforementioned comment accompanies a great piece of photographic art. I had no idea who Ned Kelly was, and from the little bit that I've gleaned, he does seem like quite a character. I find it odd that so much of human history centers around people who exist in a kind of gray space...were they heroes, were they little more than rogue rapscallions (rogue rapscallions? A bit of a redundant term, but I've been waiting for about 5 days to use it.) Anyway, I'm fascinated by that, because its such a vibrant thing, that gray space; I guess the definition of a hero depends on who gets (or doesn't get) to write the history. Anyway, all of that aside, I really like this image, the way it's captured with such vivid life. Love the hairstyle too! I want a beard like that! Well...maybe. Looks like it would be hot in summer. Anyway, enough rambling. This shot rocks. I love all of the details.
