Description

This pub is in the most northern part of Heidelberg, the part where I live. This part is named "Handschuhsheim", this means "home of the glove". I admit, it's a strange name, it was created 1200 years ago. This area belongs to the "Kurpfalz" (Google translator: Electoral Palatinate), and we speak a special dialect here. Many people in other parts of Germany have really problems to understand this dialect. So we say to "Handschuhsheim": "Hendesse". Now you know where my artist name comes from. And the name of this pub too. Thanks for looking.
