Description

My youngest one Savannah is graduating from Preschool today. Although I didn't realize it at the time this image was being made, it shows the emotions that I feel in so many ways. The stairway itself represents growth - she is so excited about going to Kindergarden or "Big Kids School" as she calls it, all she talks about is how big she's getting. You'll notice that the character here has paused to look back and as she reflects on the years she even imagines a ache in her now empty womb. The darkness as well as the light both represent not only the the process of birth but also the cycle of life. I guess I say all this just to say that while it's wonderful to see her grow it does hurt alittle bit while allowing it to happen. But all in all I am thankful for the priviledge. xxoo..Congratulations Baby Girl..xxoo...Thanks for stopping by and most of all thanks for listening...%^)) ---- Character morph - Cheiko by me Textures - Saba (Samil , rmp) Stairwell - The collection V3 (MnD Productions, rmp) Clothing - Separates Vol1 (RDNA) Pose - Jessica/Joie Pack (Morris, rmp)

Rejoicing & celebrating is just contagious... Congrats to you both!... My eyes are so drawn into the steps, the play of shadows and glow of divine light holding her centre...

Oh my this is powerful beyond measure. The use of light and shadow is brilliant and the entire image is made all the more poignant by allowing us to the see and hear the truth in your emotions. Exceptional work.

Yes, it is a bittersweet feeling; the growth and independance of children. I appreciate the starkness and hidden anxieties of this image. A powerful piece of work CW.
