Description

The first man in line here is my Great Uncle Carl. His plane was shot down and they never found his remains. He earned a Purple Heart amongst other medals of Honor. Have a safe Memorial Day weekend if your celebrating it. Thank you for the click, comments, and Fav's on my last post "Trapped In My Dreams". I really, really appreciate it. A great memorial day tribute dear Rose, thie landing in the Normandie was a real black day for such a mass of young soldiers who lost their lifes there, I saw yesterday evening this relewvant movie in TV, it maked me so sad, OMG, I was thinking about all these mothers and fathers - It's so cruel!! Great tribute! My grandfathers fought on opposites sides of that war; I am extremely thankful that both survived, as well as my German grandfather's five brothers. They are all gone now, but I had the pleasure of some time with them.
