Reminds me of the story that the Soviets would attack in the early morning, because the interleaved road wheels of the German tanks would often get welded together by ice.

Early evening or early morning visit on the western front. It was as cold inside one of those, as outside. But they were good protection from the wind, and a lot of other things, too. Very well done - can be taken for a photo! Keep up the good work! :)

The lighting and overall feel of cold is very convincing here, but I certainly wouldn't expect green foliage etc. in a winterscene like this.
