took this a few weeks ago. I was driveing back to Lake charles and I saw the fireworks going off. It was for Contraband Days. As far as I know it Jean Lafitte hide out in Lake Charles at times in CONTRABAND Bayou . here a link to some of the history http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contraband_Bayou
