Description

Hi Everyone, Cute factor high here. This baby chipmunk had zero fear of us. We were about to get in the jeep after our usual Sunday breakfast outing , this little chipmunk and its sibling were waiting. I stepped between the jeep and the brush as this little critter came out from under some ivy. Fearless it sat in the sun. I took four photos and smiled all the while. Hope you enjoy it. -GB-

What a great shot! I love chipmunks! There is one at the campground we're going to in Center Ossipee for the week and this little guy will climb right up your leg and eat sunflower seeds. Last year I bought a five pound bag of sunflower seeds and by the time our weeks camping was over, the bag was empty, LOL.

Great shot of this adorable little critter. We don't have them here in Texas but I lived in Ohio for several years and often saw them there. I can speak from personal experience, that even the friendly ones will bite on occasion. Despite my scars, I still am very fond of them. After all, I grew up with Alvin and the Chipmunks as well as Disney's "Chip and Dale", lol. Snowcrow1 could take a lesson from you - always have your camera with you - hahaha. Thanks for sharing. Hello my friend ,how are you ?.I had a neighbour who kept these in a cage .I never really liked the idea of keeping any animal caged but I must admit its easier to get a good look :o) Mick

WOW! That's what you call a CLOSEUP! Excellent! The image is nice and crisp within that very small depth of field. Nice shot.
