Description
This beautiful Orchid also known as Loose-Flowered Orchid (Orchis Laxiflora) grows at Le Noir Pre in St Ouen's Bay, Jersey. It is no longer found elsewhere in the British Isles.
The meadow is owned by the National Trust - in May to June it is full of these Orchids as well as other beautiful plants. It is visited by many people who come to the Island specifically to view these wonderful rare plants.
