Description

I played around with Poser Depth of Field settings but wasn't quite satisfied with the outcome. So I went back to basics and rendered all the different layers myself and put them together again later. These days I do all my postwork with Pixelmator on the Mac. It is a fine working program and as expensive as Photoshop. I hope you will enjoy this picture. I think it is one of the best works I have done lately. The image title was inspired buy the Jethro Tull song "Budapest". I saw a concert of the band last week and I still love the song. -enjoy Holli Visit my website http://www.atomic-knights.de

Good picture, but you lost some of the depth of field, as there is none within the character, really. As much as you have blurred the background, at least the left shoulder would have been unsharp i a real photo, and probably also the foremost parts wold have a slight unsharpness. If you want a real cheap alternative to Photoshop - use Gimp, it's free, and does almost the same as Photoshop. I myself do not consider Photoshop too expensive. It's the only application I know, and I know many, that does live up to the expectations: even the other Adobe applications are poor beside Photoshop.
