Description
I promised something more light-hearted and here it is.
Fabrizio della Vedra has successfully avoided his fellow aristocrats for almost a year and a half; but now his freedom is at an end. Francesco, who’s never quite understood that Fabrizio doesn’t want to meet other aristos, has introduced him to his client Don Alfonso dell’ Accada, a formidable Antalian lord. In turn, Don Alfonso has acted as middleman to offer Francesco a lucrative commission in Selinda, for an unnamed client. This will require a journey to the Duke’s court; furthermore, it will give Fabrizio the opportunity (in fairly unusual circumstances) to renew contact with his sole surviving sibling, Claudia della Vedra, whose delight in intrigues makes Don Alfonso look like an amateur.
And, as if all that wasn’t bad enough, Fabrizio will have to dress the part. The arrival of his court outfit from the tailor’s is an event for all concerned. For Fabrizio, it’s simply confirmation that he is going to spend his time in Selinda looking like a complete ass. For old Rodrigo, it’s a moment of great pride: his young master is finally growing up and recognising that he must dress like the nobleman he is. And, for Francesco, it’s an utter delight: even when he’s finished making fun of Fabrizio’s lace-trimmed breeches, he has the material for hours of mockery ahead, in the form of high-heeled court shoes with buckles and more lace… not to mention a wig… As the final adjustments are made, no wonder Fabrizio looks far from overjoyed…
Many thanks for the suggestions for horse-names on “Levade”, by the way. “Gallardo” wins it. Let’s just hope the horse doesn’t have a culture crisis, being the only creature in the story with a Spanish rather than Italian name. Still, Spanish horses are always meant to be the best :-)

LOL I love this! The look on his face as he sideway looks at the laughter, absolutely perfect. Is it wrong of me to fall in love with a 3d model? grin And I swear, I'm going to be picking your brain for your set up in your art - lighting and everything is so gorgeous.

Poor Fabrizio! Not nice, Francesco!! But I LOVE the expression on Fabrizio's face, like he would rather be anywhere else but there, knowing he was going to have to wear those 'prissy' clothes, LOL. what 17 year old would?? Another wonderful render!
