Kira opened the door slowly allowing the dim light to flood the dark room, she waited for her eyes to adjust to the darkness and shadows emerged. Seven children, the oldest barely looked over 16, all cowered in the corner of the room. Kira's hands clenched into fists, her eyes narrowed as the children nervously shuffled their hands and feet. She had no sympathy for them only anger, and yes that may sound heartless but that was Kira. Her anger brewed from twos sides, the 1st was her conscience telling her to be angry at herself for NOT feeling sorry for them, the 2nd was from her warrior side, telling her why should she feel anything for them all you had to do was look at them to see how pathetic they were. It was only five years ago Kira was in the same uniform these children wore yet she had managed to escape all by herself and even helped Isabell along the way. Kira turned her head not wanting to look at them any more and left the room, she didn't even manage to make it to the stairs before Isabell came running up to her with a look that could only mean trouble was on the way.... thanks for looking and commenting if you do :)
