Description

Before I leave let me tell you why I'm going And try to speak in such a way that you won't be afraid of listening Too many words been spoke without no understanding And I'd hate to add another wound to the times we had good loving. But oh when I think of the tall pine trees growing The silver mists of snow all around me blowing. I'll miss the gentle times and the fireplace a'warming Perhaps I'll turn my head away to hide the tears a'falling. Some say I have dishonored you through foolishness and folly The question not in where that lies but if you're standing by me. I do not need to hear the words to know your truthful answer Your eyes that once were home to me now tell me I'm a stranger. I'm bound to be a wanderer, I'll never take another I'll catch a merchant ship tonight and sail to foreign waters I'll judge no man for what he's done and no man will I bother And I hope to find some peace again and cleanse my soul of anger Lyrics to an old Peter, Paul, and Mary song that has always been a favorite of mine. Since I'm (obviously) still in a sad, love song mood, I thought that I'd draw my version of it. It was a little strange doing snow right now since it's almost 100 degrees outside my house. lol. Drawn in Vue 8 Studio No postwork except for signature. Credits: Ship - http://123nonstop.com/3d-stuff/free-download-3d-ship-model-sailboat-extra-detailed.html

I thought I recognized those words, they certainly inspired a beautiful, soulful painting. Scenes like this are good anytime of year, especially so when it's hot. Beautiful work, I love the color palette. Very beautiful work.

Sorry you are still hurting, but this is a loss you are mourning. Such a deep soul as yours will heal, be sure of that. Tall pines would also be in the sailing vessel - the tall masts would be probably be pines. Take care.

That melancholy in this poem takes, that sadness, that poetry of course also for the soul of a tormented soul! If one half goes, it seems that the other has lost his bearings; Excellent poem full of nostalgia for times past and Vogue ... the ship ... ... ahoy mates cast off the sails!

Oh K!!! This is so moving - and the ice is cool and wonderful... I still hate that this happened to such a nice person as you.... But that you are moving forward and not drowning in your sorrows is promising...and a good dose of Vue therapy does the soul good.. Your work and your life always inspire me. Thank you. Your friend, B

To the waves eroding away the pain and the winds carrying you to new horizons. The ocean work is perfect for the mood. The DOF and night sky add to the atmosphere as well!
