“Sea rapers earned what greed; not we deserve … “ I examine this and what occurs to me is what truths you seek to obfuscate. In the comments section of your following post “MEDIA FRAUD & FOOLS” I address you inconsistent and distorted statements about capitalism. Here I focus on the core of this statement. Notice you post on-line. In so doing you reap the benefits of such drilling directly: using state of the art computer digital technology, computer and telecommunications systems, the servers, and satellite systems which make this possible: thus you reap the benefits of high technology which exists only and solely due to the harvest and use of these natural resources, the procurement of which you so malign. The productive energy which your computer runs on, this device which allows the transmission of your creative energy, the productive energy which heats your home in winter, which cools your home in summer, which illuminates the light bulbs which have freed you (and all men) from slavery to the sunset and dark of night … This you consign to greed. Is your use, as you fully are involved in reaping the benefits, also consigned as greed? It looks to me like you are hip deep in it. So, are you not also one of the “sea-rapers?” I believe your outrage is misplaced. Perhaps it has not occurred to you to question: 1. Why have we permitted the panic of eco-frenzied dictatorial thugs and mobs to drive drilling into such deep waters instead of keeping it contained in areas where such a disaster might be easily managed? Why do we permit these eco-frauds to prevent the full capitalism of nuclear energy which might limit such drilling? 2. Why, when the spill was easily contained did our fearless leaders refuse to act, refusing to allow the release of thousands of kilometers of booms stored in warehouses? 3. Why is the fool in Washington consulting a film director (James Cameron of all people) and not the Army Corps of Engineers who are actually equipped to deal with such disasters – why not consult experts in naval intelligence – who have pioneered the use of extremely deep submersible technology – why not consult industrial drilling experts – you know, those specialist who possess both the technical knowledge to deal with such events? It looks to me like this crisis is being manufactured into a large scale disaster with intent and purpose. We need all be aware of the facts and need examine closely how this administration is mismanaging this crisis – and we need ask why this mismanagement is happening – and question to what end is this happening?
