Description

I know the Enterprise wouldn't normally be running, but I'm sure Kirk has a really good reason. It's always hard to show off a model and make a good picture. Here's my Klingon ship with a bit more detail. I realised the neck actually angles downward and the main body upward, so I fixed that. I'll render a plan view tomorrow so you can see it in all it's glory. Thanks for looking.

Nice image, and I can totally relate to the conflict between good, satisfying composition, and putting the model that you've slaved over in the best possible light. Another thing is discovering an aspect or angle that is not right after hours of painstaking UV mapping/texturing only to realize that you've got to back, modify the model and then re-map the entire thing! Anyhow, great pic - dramatic POV, wonderful backdrop.
