Description
BRYCE 6, modeling - partly in HEXAGON 2.
The interstellar spaceship had a shipwreck above a remote planet with rather suitable life conditions. The catastrophe affected also the orbital shuttles. However, they had to take great risks but try and go down the orbit with the help of these – as the stock of provision and most importantly, air was running out very quickly. Not every descent module was lucky to land, although security systems helped to survive the bigger part of the crew. Only several thousands of colonists managed to survive. Unfortunately, only a small part of equipment and several on-board computers were left unhurt. But radioactive contamination in the area where some modules had fallen appeared the biggest blow. It was during several generation span life when at last the crew descendants managed to return to these metal remains which nearly became a tale. There appeared an opportunity to restore long-forgotten technologies – a community which could already be called technicians and scientists started to work. Let their success not be very great, we should take into account that not one generation had exchanged the other, scraps of knowledge about their ancestors and the previous life were being lost in the mist of times. The worst thing was that the people began to forget their forerunners, their motherland. Once alien and unknown planet became a new home for them. All the most interesting, even stars are still ahead again, and the colony in the place of the fallen shuttles with its stores of metal, materials and on-board systems is becoming a new Mecca, a Mecca of new technologies (although not all the modules have been found yet and the gigantic ship is still orbiting the planet).
PS. Much in the ship’s surroundings – the community’s subsidiary farm :)

I don't think you need the text. The fantastic picture pretty much tells the story on its own.
