Nice clean shot with a pretty color palette. Skippers are cool little critters. There are several hundred species in North America and the majority of them are robust, hairy, and mostly brown. Even though they resemble moths, they are more closely related to True Butterflies. Despite the predominately brown colors, many have very colorful patches of bright colors and are anything but drab - as your image so nicely demonstrates. Nice capture and thanks for sharing. Lee
