Description

greetings to all..:), sharing my recent work, "Highs and lows", a city/harbour scene with all sorts of structures and stuff that is usually seen around the port and ofcourse there was a particular mood i was after. idea and inspiration came from a visit to the project site im working on. few refs were browsed thru at the time of layouting. painter - tablet. thanks for watching..:).

Always admire tablet work and this is a fine example. While interesting the thing that I love about this is the vertical movement of the entire composition, the smoke, buildings, even the reflections.... and then there is this small boat moving across in a horizontal sweep... really catches my eye! A very nice work!

The marvelous thing with waheednasir's paintings is just how they do never look like photographs. Even when he uses a photo as reference the final work do not look like a photo but looks and feels exactly as art. The explanation is quite simple, it is because it IS art. :)
