Description
An old photographer I met once told me to always 'look up'! It's proved to be great advice. This is a sign on the side of a CBD building. The business ceased trading over 100 years ago, but the sign is still there! I suppose it's too hard to remove in the position it's in! I really love finding little snippets of history like this. Please zoom for more detail.

No... It's a good job this piece of History is high up or the Graffiti louts would have thrown red paint over it as 'Souleater' says... A Piece of the past that should be treasured not left because they 'couldn't find a way to get rid'... Good find mate! :-) Rob

There's an old barn on HWY 101 near Santa Rosa that still has a big sign on its roof advertising some kind of medicinal potion. I always want to get a shot of it, but I'm also always zooming by at about 70 mph on my way somewhere. This makes me want to finally stop and get that foto!!
